2021 Maserati Ghibli and Quattroporte Trofeo tease ahead of debut
The 2021 Maserati Ghibli,
Levante and Quattroporte are expected to make their debut next month and the carmaker has teased the vehicles ahead of its unveiling. The new image teases the front end of the cars, making the updated grille and sleek DRLS quite obvious, and all this Maserati has shared. It has not yet revealed any further details about the model and we can only expect it to arrive on August 10 when the Ghibli of 2021 and the Quattroporte Trofeo will be unveiled.
That said, we are hoping that Ghibli and Quattroport
will be topped by the source of the new 4.0-liter V8 motor from LeBinte, which will replace Ferrari's 3.8-liter V8 engine in their line-up. The new engine is expected to achieve a maximum output of 600 Bhp and will also be mated to an electric motor. Yes! Maserati has already revealed the Ghibli lightweight hybrid earlier this month and Maserati vehicles will also get an electrified version in the future.
Maserati has developed a new 2.0-liter,
four-cylinder turbo engine that will be paired with a 48V alternator and an electric supercharger (e-booster) that will be a power source from a lithium-ion battery pack. Maserati says the new powertrain strikes a perfect balance between performance and efficiency. It is also impressive that this lighter-hybrid version is 80 kg lighter than the Maserati Ghibli-equipped 3.0-liter diesel engine, despite the weight of the battery pack.
