Kia Sonat shows many features of the first section and many similarities in the concept form of the production version.
It is expected that Sony will be launched in the festive period.
The Kia Sonite sub-compact SUV
finally broke cover as production at a world premiere held on Friday. The sub-compact SUV was shown in concept form at the Auto Expo 2020 and the production version has many similarities with it as it expects the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Mahindra X3300 to launch around the festive period. Will play the horn.
Sonat, shown by Kia, hopes that he contests the election in a very attractive and unstoppable manner. What the car gets is the Kia as the 'Crown Jewel' with LED DRLs with LED headlights integrated with side turn indicators. Other highlights include 'turbo' shaped front skid plates.
Like Celtos, Sonnet will also be offered in both the GT line and the Tech line.
The GT line attempts to give the car a more sporty visual appeal - on the outside as well as in the cabin, and the large red accents and front grille continue to have a red stripe on the side and highlights on the rear. .
The rear of the sonnet features smart looking taillights which are connected with reflector garnishes. This gives the car a wider visual profile, enabled with a sporty dual muffler design and diffuser fin rear skid plate.
Sonnet will get two petrol engine options - the refined SmartStream 1.2 and the performance-oriented 1.0-liter turbo GDI. It will also have a diesel engine option.
A lot is happening inside.
For the audiophile, the Sonat Bose comes with a seven-speaker system with sub-woofer and LED sound mood lamp. Kia says the cabin has been given a modern and dynamic appeal, and the company may have a predominantly young buying audience for the car.
A large 10.25-inch HD screen suits the Sonat's dashboard and offers - like Celtos - UVB connectivity options. In addition to normal AV duties, it excludes live traffic information and will receive over-the-air (OTA) map updates. A wireless smartphone charger with cooling function is also included.
A smart air purifier is found inside the Sonet in Sonet's cabin that claims protection from viruses.
The much-hyped six-speed iMT (clutch-less transmission)
option will also be available and while Hyundai beat the Kia at the Venue in July, it may still stand as a deciding factor for the sonnet. Kia says the technology provides the best of both worlds and eliminates the need to press the clutch while retaining the thrill of a manual gear shift.
There are also options to choose 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and 7-speed DCT.
The Sport trim features de-cut steering and red stitching which is also present on the seats and door armrests.
Kia is also highlighting the safety features that Sonit
will bring to its customers and the list includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), auto head lights, brake assist (BA) ) Include, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Assist Control (HAC), among other highlights.
Once officially launched, Sonat wants to project itself as a strong and complete package to retake its case in its segment. The segment already has electric players and is also looking at new entries such as Nissan Magnite in the coming times.
