BMW announced the F750GS, F850GS,

The new colors of the BMW F750GS, BMW F850GS and BMW F850GS Adventure models include a striking black and yellow anniversary dress, titled '40 Year GS Edition'. The new bike has a generous dose of black and gold, with yellow highlights on the handguard, seat, tank, and plastic with "40 Years GS" lettering on the side panel. Other color options have also been introduced, including a new racing red, racing blue and rallying colors. In addition to the new color options, all three models will come standard as standard with LED indicators, plus a USB charging port, and cornering ABS and traction control on the base model.

Mechanically, no changes are announced on the engine and cycle parts.

The same 853cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine continues to power the middleweight GS model. With two balance shafts, the engine is claimed to offer smooth performance, spontaneous response, impressive force and low fuel consumption. On the BMW F750GS, the 853cc, parallel-twin makes 77 bhp maximum power at 7,500 rpm and delivers a peak torque of 83 Nm at 6,000 rpm. On the BMW F850GS and F850GS Adventure models, the same engine produces 95 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm.

Pro riding modes have been modified for all mid-range GS models,

which now offer slightly different refueling and more engine. Engine drag torque control (MSR) and dynamic brake control (DBC) are now components of the Pro riding mode. Standard four ride modes are still offered, which can be deployed via the right handlebar.

However, according to the new homologation requirements,

the anti-lock braking system (ABS) can no longer be completely shut down. Enduro and Enduro Pro riding modes now provide appropriately optimized controls for this. In Enduro Pro riding mode (BMW F850GS and BMW F850GS Adventure only), the ABS function can be turned off on the rear wheel. The new bike is expected to be available for sale at BMW dealerships around Europe by September. For India, BMW Motorrad hopes to introduce the updated model by the end of the year.
